Are you tired of the current trend to complex computer controlled transmitters with their irrelevant gimmicks and centimetre thick manuals written in incomprehensible language? If so then read, on for the MARK 22 may be your kind of TX.

At the heart of the MARK 22 TX is a powerful discrete encoder which may be expanded to 24 Channels if required. Standard over the counter IC chips are used throughout for ease of servicing and parts procurement. Programming of this novel encoder is simplicity itself with the unique SILVERTONE "Wander Lead" method of programming.

In the MARK 22 TX every control stick, switch or knob is fitted with an identical 3 pin socket and all control input circuits are fitted with an identical 3 pin plug. Thus any front panel control may be programmed for channel allocation, servo reversing or control function by simply moving or rotating the 3 pin socket. In this manner any switch may perform the retract, mix in-out or dual rate function, allowing operators to program the front panel controls to their own individual requirements.

As all 24 input channel are identical and logically arranged internally, mastering the programming of one channel gives the operator mastery over the entire 24 channels. A quick release back gives instant access to the transmitter internals for ease of programming.

Wander lead programming results in a transmitter of maximum efficiency, simplicity and thus lowest cost. Therefore instead of a front panel loaded down with confusing and expensive hatches, switches, knobs, and buttons; gadgets that may or may not ever be used; the standard 8 Channel MARK 22 TX presents a more Spartan face with a mere two knobs and 4 switches. This means that more dollars are available for the really important things such as high quality components and robust welded seam aluminium cases.

A very useful spin off from wander lead programming is the fact that both modules may be removed quickly and easily for rapid service turn-around. Silvertone servicing policy on the MARK 22 provides for a flat fee module replacement which results in minimum down time for the R/C enthusiast.

The novelty of the MARK 22 TX does not end with the encoder however, for the MARK 22 TX is loaded with unusual and useful features of great interest to most R/C enthusiasts. Flying field safety is a primary concern of the Silvertone design engineers and painstaking care has been lavished on this aspect of the MARK 22 design. Such features as Frequency Interlock and low Third Order Intermodulation guarantees that the MARK 22 TX deals very gently indeed with your fellow club members. Low current consumption guarantees that the operator has at least 4 hours of non stop fun between charges.
